The new centre’s key aims are to provide a substantial vocational STEM curriculum to support progression from primary and secondary schools, to complete a distinctive 14-19 learning zone in Bolton, to increase aspiration and motivation in young people, and to increase apprenticeship opportunities for young people by offering a wider range of STEM-related frameworks

Longworth was contracted to supply and install the zinc cladding and associated substrate works for the facility which is based in the centre of Bolton, next to the College’s Deane Road campus.
